Nicole by OPI - Pink-nic in the Parc (with China Glaze Queen B stamping) Something About Spring 2011
Pink-nic in the Parc is a sheer pearly/shimmer pink with a hot pink flash I got for a few bucks in a discount store. With a stamping attempt I tried to distract from the sheerness. China Glaze Queen B is a ocw so it should stamp OK according to my calculations, but the stamping plate was perhaps a bit too subtle or my stamper was too hard (I think I used my konad stamper here) or I just can't stamp (yet)! The colours are nice together but that's about all: I kind of think this mani is a bit of a fail.

China Glaze - S'more Fun (The Great Outdoors Collection, fall 2015) stamped with Mundo de Uñas
I just needed S'more Fun in my life: it's a dirty greenish yellow and I am a fool for those kind of colours (and I have a perfect yellow obsession...). This time I wanted to do some stamping (still learning though), I used MoYou plate nr 07 from the Mother Nature Collection, I stamped with Mundo de Uñas Pastel Blue and Taupe. I was very happy with the result although I still have not figured out how to get rid of the air bubbles in my stamping.......as I said: it's a learning proces :-)
Sorry for the bad pictures: it was such an awful, rainy and dark day that it dulled the colours considerably.

Essie - I Pink I Can ( Breast Cancer Awareness Collection 2014)
The breast Cancer Awareness Collection consists of three polishes; the dark pink one, Pink Happy, I showed you already. Today I have I Pink I Can for you and there also is a very cute pale pink glitter (Pinking About You) to complete the trio.
I Pink I Can is a lovely light and bright pink creme, it applies very opaque and non-streaky *yeah* so you're done in two easy layers!
Love it: it is very fresh and clean!
It did chip fairly easy though (those two layers remain kind of thick on the nails and that usually is a sign that the polish might chip soon in my experience).
When it chipped I used the opportunity to practice my stamping: I used Pink Happy and added Pinking About You as topper.
Pinking About You is a lovely pale pink glitter topper with various sizes of hex glitter. It was very thick though: awful! I needed to thin it drastically to get it flowing and distributing evenly! After thinning it was fine and I got nice and even glitter payoff after that.
The stamping needs...well....more practice I'm afraid :-)

Tiny post: first stamping attempt (with China Glaze - When Stars Collide)
Just a tiny little post today: my first stamping attempt....
I have used a stamping plate from Infinity Nails: nr 17 and as a stamping polish I used China Glaze When Stars Collide over the existing China Glaze Choo-Choo Choose You.
The contrast is a bit low, so the stamping is not very striking but the colours go good together I think.
Next time I'll put a creme over a shimmer and choose a higher contrast in colours.

We almost burned the tree with our candles :-)
Needles were dropping like flies....but the pudding was a big succes and the rest of diner was yummie as well!
I was in a bit of a hurry to do my nails: I had thought out the most beautiful skittle in the world but I had to toss that thought. It became something a bit more simple........
The base is China Glaze Queen B (1coat!), I added some glitter by using China Glaze All Wrapped Up and China Glaze Put A Bow On It. The snowflakes are made with Essence silver (for stamping) and some obscure plate I bought in China via eBay.
This combination matched my dress (dark blue) and my tights (purple) perfectly, so I was pretty satisfied with my mani-in-a-hurry. These pics were made in a hurry as well: in the car on our way home :-)
