OPI Amazon...Amazoff (OPI Brazil Collection Spring/Summer 2014)

Day three: OPI Amazon...Amazoff.
The dark one out of the Brazil Collection: it's a green teal or a teal green with slight silver pearl/shimmer.
And *spoiler alert* it is a BIG, BIG, BIG stainer, so triple up on base coat!

This was two easy coats. Although I was a bit hesitant about this shade being possibly to harsh on me...I liked it a lot and I found it not unflattering at all.

OPI Live, Love, Carnaval (OPI Brazil Collection Spring/Summer 2014)

Day 2: OPI Live, Love, Carnaval  from the Brazil Collection.
It is a hot coral on the reddish side of coral, nice and creamy, no hidden shimmers.
This was two fairly easy coats.

KIKO Cupcakes Gelsomino (647)

Man, this is not going as planned......I am way behind in blogging.
I just don't seem to find the time to post about my nails on a regular basis these days!
The coming week I will try to post every day, starting today (mostly pics not too much words).

So here we go:
KIKO Cupcakes nr 647, Gelsomino (means "jasmine" in Italian) is a liquid sand polish. It is completely matte, the base is off white with turquoise and orange sprinkles. The sprinkles look like tiny pieces of shredded plastic.
I really like the look of this.

It was two easy coats of 647 and I loved wearing it!

OPI - Tangerine Scene (OPI Psychedelic summer Collection 2007) with OPI - Muppets World Tour (OPI Muppets Most Wanted, Soft Shades 2014)

Orange Peel, that is what Tangerine Scene reminds me of when I see it in the bottle. Nice and juicy orange without any fuss.
But TS is an oldie, with an old formula...and it is streaky, watery and transparent of sorts. I used three layers here and I was still not totally opaque >sigh< . Hence the addition Muppets World Tour after one day of irritation!
It did the job on the unevenness but couldn't stop the tipp wear that TS gets within a day.

Notice the new watermark: I just had Photoshop installed and I am fiddling around a bit to get to know the program better!

Conclusion is that I love the colour but not the formula....perhaps I should use an other base/topcoat?
Muppets World Tour is a lovely kind of rough polish (I wore it without any topcoat) there are some tiny silver particles in the base together with some slightly larger white and pale gold ones, then you have the even bigger coloured glitters in blue, pink and light pink. This one will look lovely over a more neutral colour as well!

OPI - Miss Piggy's Big Number (Muppets Most Wanted, Soft Shades Collection 2014)

Man, do I like this polish!!!
Miss Piggy's Big Number is blue on fire, smoldering skies, glowing sapphires, Gonzo gone electric, or, or, or....
It is perfect, really!
It borders on metallic, it has some duo chrome qualities (shifting from turquoise to purple) and it shimmers.
The formula was perfect as well, very easy to handle and you get electric nails in two easy coats of blueeee.

The only weird thing about this polish is the name; when I think about Miss Piggy I do not envision this heavenly blue!
