Chanel - Le Vernis is it Matador or Ruby Slipper or Rouge Moire, or, or....: HELP ME!

DAY 7: (YEAH, I made it!) today I have a mystery polish for you ( and for me as well). It is a Chanel polish but I do not know the name.... I will do my best to describe the colour and than flood you with a bunch of pics.
The colour: it is a deep red with some berry tones in it, you could say it is a deep blood colour. And there is shimmer...loads of it: gold shimmer that you can see in the bottle in low light and some purplish fuschia shimmer you can see in more direct lighting. Together they give the polish a phenomenal depth and shine, it really smolders!

The formula was heavenly: like butter. I did three coats here and that was just to get the colour as deep and glowing as possible. The colour (whatever the name is) is b e a u t i f u l and I love it BIG time :-)

BUT if you have any thoughts about what Chanel colour this could be: PLEASE SHARE THEM!
It would be lovely to know the name of this beauty! >thanks<

OPI - Next Stop...The Bikini Zone (OPI Brazil Collection spring/summer 2014)

Day 6: (still going strong here..!!) This is the last polish I have from the Brazil Collection at the moment. It is the duochrome indescribable colour Next Stop...The Bikini Zone. It is sort of silverish brown/grey with lilac and olive sheen I guess. The same sort of colour is in the latest Muppets Most Wanted Collection (Kermit Me To Speak) but then without the tiny flecks and this one has a little less colour shift.

I did three coats here but that was just for good measure, you can get by with two. I like it a lot but I think I like Kermit Me To Speak just a tiny bit better because it is a fraction more outspoken than this one.

OPI Kiss Me I'm Brazilian with OPI Live Love Carnaval dots (OPI Brazil Collection spring/summer 2014)

Day 5: today I tried a happy dotted mani with two Brazil Collection polishes......I failed.....
I was way too impatient and ended up smearing the red dots into weeping dots >sniff<
The colours are cute together though: they are close friends and I like the combination!

This was two coats of the bubblegum pink (Kiss Me I'm Brazilian) and that was perfect in itself.
Next time I will wait a little longer.....or perhaps a lot longer.....if I can make myself do that...... :-)

Essie - In The Cab-ana (In the Cab-ana Resort Collection 2013)

Day 4: (going strong here..) keeping it blue today with Essie's (again) In The Cab-ana from the Resort Collection '13. It is a light turquoise or aqua colour (Essie says "self-assured aqua azure") that reminds me of a beautiful caribbean sea, very resort appropriate >sigh<

I think this was two easy creamy coats.....but it was a while ago that I wore this....so I/m not 100% sure about this.

Essie - Avenue Maintain (Madison Ave-hue Collection, spring 2013) with Nubar - Berry Blue Crush (Candy Crush Collection, spring 2014)

Day three:  today we have a character from Essie's Madison Ave-hue Collection '13....Avenue Maintain.
It is a very intense sky blue creme (Parisian light blue as Essie calls it), very happy and bright.
I paired it with Nubar Berry Blue Crush, the smaller blue glitters are sort of ton sur ton and the pink ones jump right at you!

This was two heavenly coats of Avenue Maintain (like butter) and one Berry Blue Crush layer....I should have doubled (or tripled) up on topcoat to get the end result more smooth.... next time, I will do so.

Pahlish - Olea Europaea (fall 2013)

Day 2: Pahlish Olea Europaea.
Love this polish, I was sold on the name alone! Love the colour as well: a perfect mossy olive green with a holographic flash. The formula was OK but I needed an aqua basecoat, I had some issues with the wear when I used Sticky base and Poshé topcoat. Using my Fnug aqua basecoat and Fnug topcoat making an enormous improvement in wear.

Nubar - Orange Slice Crush (Crushed Candy Collection, spring 2014)

Let's see if I can make it the second time around ;-)
Day 1: Nubar Orange Slice Crush on Essie Luscious Lips.
I really like this colour combo, the orange glitter is happy and sunny and the pink ones POP and give the polish some umph.

This was one coat of Orange Slice Crush: the glitter payoff was perfect...I do not think you can get it to be opaque though...it definitely is a topper.
