A-England - Captive Goddess (Rossetti's Goddess 2015)

Wow, this is a complicated shade of ...what exactly? A-England describes it as a complex holographic blend of cerulean blue, aquamarine green and muted purple veiled by a silver grey shadow. The base is a grey with a hint of petrol/steel blue, there is a hard flash of cerulean blue, a soft shimmer of lilac and some faint green shimmer at the edges and to top it of there is the soft holo dusting. The colour reminds me of a labradorite stone, I have earrings with that stone so I made a picture with it for comparison.
The formula is lovely, this a two buttery coats.

Orly - Pretty Ugly (Mash Up Collection Summer 2013)

I am feeling blue today, so this polish matches my mood...
Orly Pretty-Ugly was just what I was looking for: an aquatic light blue with  pretty shimmer that is not too shy. I see the pretty in this...but the ugly? The only thing I can think of is that it was a little watery so I needed three coats to get my nails perfectly covered in pretty blue...but is that ugly?

Essie - In The Cab-ana (In the Cab-ana Resort Collection 2013)

Day 4: (going strong here..) keeping it blue today with Essie's (again) In The Cab-ana from the Resort Collection '13. It is a light turquoise or aqua colour (Essie says "self-assured aqua azure") that reminds me of a beautiful caribbean sea, very resort appropriate >sigh<

I think this was two easy creamy coats.....but it was a while ago that I wore this....so I/m not 100% sure about this.
